路線:新店捷運站(集合)-瑠公紀念碑-金成蘭餅店-開天宮-新店渡船頭-坐渡船到對岸-和美礦坑舊址-坐渡船返回-碧潭吊橋
簡介:位於新店捷運站旁的碧潭, 為新店溪寬闊的河面, 因類似水潭狀且水色澄碧而稱為碧潭, 風景優美, 有出租小船可供民眾遊潭。連接溪水兩岸有日治時期建造的吊橋, 另有全台唯一的人力擺渡, 提供遊客往返。
河岸鄰近18世紀完成的瑠公圳取水處, 見證農業社會水圳灌溉的歷史。沿著站旁老街步行至開天宮, 可以觀賞人工開鑿的石硿, 體會當時開拓的艱辛, 並認識在地宮廟文化。之後坐渡船至對岸, 探訪和美礦山遺址, 感受過往開採繁盛的風華。
Route:
Xindian MRT Station (Meeting Point) → Liugong Memorial Monument → Jin Cheng Lan Bakery → Kaitian Temple → Xindian Ferry Pier → Ferry ride to the opposite shore → Hemei Mining Site → Ferry ride back → Bitan Suspension Bridge
Introduction:
Located next to Xindian MRT Station, Bitan is a wide section of the Xindian River, known for its clear, emerald-green waters, resembling a large pond, hence its name "Bitan." The area is beautiful and offers boat rentals for public enjoyment. The suspension bridge, built during the Japanese colonial era, connects both sides of the river. Additionally, there is Taiwan's only manually operated ferry, offering tourists a return trip across the river.
The riverbank is adjacent to the Liugong Canal, completed in the 18th century, serving as a water intake point and a historical witness to the irrigation system of agricultural society. Walk along the old street next to the station to reach Kaitian Temple, where you can admire the man-made stone wells and experience the hardships of the past when the land was being developed. You will also learn about the local temple culture. Afterward, take the ferry to the opposite shore to visit the Hemei mining site, where you can feel the prosperity of the past mining activities.
